Our Programs

1. Housing Support Programs

At the core of MCH’s mission is the belief that safe, stable housing is a critical need for every individual. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, our Housing Support Programs are designed to provide solutions for those facing housing insecurity, offering them the tools and resources necessary to regain independence.

Transitional Housing
Our Transitional Housing Program provides temporary housing for individuals and families who are at risk of homelessness. This program serves as a stepping stone, offering a secure place to live while participants work to achieve long-term stability. During their time in transitional housing, residents receive access to a comprehensive support network, including case management, financial literacy training, and job placement assistance. Our goal is to not only provide shelter but to empower individuals to rebuild their lives with dignity.

Affordable Rentals
Recognizing that housing costs continue to rise, our Affordable Rental Program is designed to provide low- and moderate-income individuals and families with long-term rental solutions. Through partnerships with religious institutions, local governments, and private organizations, we are able to offer rental units at below-market rates. These affordable rentals create welcoming, safe environments for families and individuals who might otherwise struggle to find housing in competitive markets. We strive to build not just homes but communities, where neighbors can thrive together.

2. Real Estate Development Projects

At MCH, we are more than just a housing support provider—we are builders. With over 30 years of experience in real estate development and construction, we specialize in transforming underutilized land into vibrant, affordable housing communities. Our Real Estate Development team takes an active role in solving the housing crisis by developing sustainable, high-quality housing that serves the community’s most vulnerable populations.

Faith-Based Development
As part of our unique mission, we partner with churches and religious institutions to repurpose underused land for affordable housing projects. Often, faith communities own land that is underutilized, but with our expertise, that land can become a beacon of hope and transformation. Through these partnerships, we honor the spiritual mission of these institutions by helping them fulfill their call to serve the community. By repurposing their land for affordable housing, we not only provide a practical solution to the housing crisis but also build bridges between faith communities and those in need.

Bringing 30 Years of Expertise
Our team has over three decades of experience in real estate development, bringing unmatched expertise to each project. We’ve developed a range of housing options, from multi-family affordable housing complexes to single-family homes, always with a focus on sustainability and long-term success. We understand the complexities of construction, zoning, and financing, and we bring a wealth of knowledge to ensure that our housing projects are not only successful but impactful.

Sustainable and Community-Centered Development
Our developments are designed with the community in mind. We believe that every housing project should enhance the lives of its residents and the surrounding neighborhood. That’s why we focus on sustainable development practices, incorporating energy-efficient designs, green spaces, and community amenities into our housing projects. Each development is a place where people can live, grow, and build lasting connections with one another.

How We Help

1. Empowering Individuals and Families
Housing is foundational. Without stable housing, it’s difficult for individuals and families to focus on other important aspects of their lives, such as employment, education, and health. Our Housing Support Programs and Real Estate Development Projects provide the stability needed to empower people to pursue opportunities for personal and professional growth. By offering secure, affordable housing, we give families the chance to rebuild their lives in a supportive environment.

2. Partnering with FBOs
As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, our work is deeply rooted in the faith community. We believe in the power of collaboration with religious institutions to repurpose their land for affordable housing. These partnerships allow us to carry forward the mission of these institutions by transforming unused land into homes where individuals and families can thrive. Through our partnerships, we honor the legacy of these religious institutions while addressing one of the most pressing needs in our society: affordable housing.

3. Engaging the Broader Community
Our work goes beyond housing development; it’s about fostering a sense of community. We actively engage with local stakeholders, residents, and partners to ensure that each of our projects is inclusive, sustainable, and reflective of the community’s needs. By creating spaces where people can live and connect, we’re building stronger, more resilient neighborhoods.
