About MCH

Who We Are

Mission Community Housing Inc. is a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Corporation that has been founded on the belief that everyone, regardless of background or circumstance, deserves access to affordable, safe, and supportive housing.

As a faith-based organization, we approach housing not only as a structural need but also as a spiritual and community-based endeavor. Our primary mission is to transform lives and build stronger communities by providing access to housing, support services, and development opportunities.

Our unique model includes a strong partnership with faith communities, where we collaborate with religious institutions to repurpose their underutilized land for affordable housing. With more than 30 years of experience in real estate development and construction, we’re able to bring our expertise to the forefront, ensuring that each project is built to last and enriches the lives of both residents and the surrounding community.

Our faith informs our values, guiding us toward compassion, inclusion, and justice. At MCH, we firmly believe that through collaborative efforts, we can create a world where everyone has a place to call home.

Our Founder

Beata E. Wilson, MSW is a committed social worker and entrepreneur with extensive experience in supervised visitations, monitoring, parenting coaching and co-parenting counseling, anger management counseling, community outreach and housing assistance. Before founding MCH, Mrs. Wilson also provided homelessness prevention, transitional housing and rental/utility assistance case management at a local nonprofit agency, serving at-risk and homeless populations with housing and food.

Our Mission

At Mission Community Housing, our mission is rooted in both our faith and our commitment to serve those in need. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, our ultimate goal is to provide safe, dignified, and affordable housing for individuals and families facing housing insecurity, particularly in Southern California and Oahu, Hawaii. We believe that through stable housing, people can find the foundation they need to grow and thrive.

Housing is more than just a physical structure; it represents security, dignity, and the possibility for a better future. Our mission goes beyond building homes—it’s about building strong communities, offering support, and empowering individuals. We are driven by the belief that everyone deserves a place to call home, and we strive to make that vision a reality for as many people as possible.

As a Community Housing Development Organization we are designated to provide community-based service that develops affordable housing for the benefit of low- and moderate-income individuals.
